Dr. Ronald M. Razmi

Dr. Ronald Razmi began his career as a cardiologist and was one of the pioneers in application of MRI systems in managing cardiac patients. He built the software system, cardiovascularmri.com, to serve as a platform for training of cardiologists in using MRI in managing their patients. He is a co-author of the textbook “Handbook of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging.”
 
As a McKinsey consultant, Ron worked with the world’s top healthcare and life science companies in strategy, M&A, and product development. In 2011, he founded Acupera, a population health management software company. This unique platform enables healthcare organizations to use data, care pathways, and AI to industrialize key aspects of care delivery and patient management.
 
Ron is the author of the recently published book, “AI Doctor: The Rise of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” (Wiley, 2024.) AI Doctor has received coverage in major media outlets such as Newsweek, ABC, CNBC, Fox Business, Politico, and more. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been a prolific speaker and writer in the field of digital health.
 
Ron completed his medical training at the Mayo Clinic. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Neil Carpenter is a health care strategy and innovation leader, advising health systems, payors, and venture studios. In his career, Neil has been a health system leader and a chief strategy officer for a post IPO health tech startup, NantHealth.
 
At NantHealth he was responsible for portfolio management (predominantly RCM, MSO, and VBC) and building a new value-based care oncology product line. When Neil was the Chief Strategy Officer at LIfeBridge Health he had wide ranging responsibilities,  including leading typical corporate strategy functions (e.g., ambulatory development, service line planning, M&A), but also leadership in innovation and value. Neil  helped led the clinically integrated physician network which had one of the highest ACO savings in the country, launched the first in the nation, offshore command center, the first bioincubator inside a community hospital in the country and new patient engagement technologies aimed at some of the most socio-economically challenged populations in the country.
 
Neil also spent a decade at leading consulting firms leading strategy and transformation projections.  Neil also ran statewide engagement of sernios and other vulnerable populations for Maryland’s COVID-19 task force.
Neil’s thought leadership included modeling the impact of COVID-19 on the US health care sector has been cited by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the BBC and several industry publications
